How old do I need to be?
iHub is open to young people aged 18-30 who are not enrolled in training, education or employment.
What are the program days and times?
The program starts in February 2022 and runs until teh end of Novermber. You are required to attend the program on site Monday to Friday 09h00 to 15h00.
What about nationality?
While we focus on South African youth, we’re open to non-South Africans that are eligible to work in the country.
I don’t have a matric. Can I still apply?
Yes, the program accepts people without a matric or school-leaver. Preferrably, applicants have completed Matric, but we would consider depending on the candidates fit for the program.
What high school subjects do I need?
You do not need any specific subjects to apply.
I have a degree or diploma. Can I still apply?
Yes you can, if you are not working or studying, and you are available to attend the program fulltime.
How long is the program?
The program runs for 10 months from February 2022 until the end of November 2022 with a few short breaks in between.
Where will the program take place?
Training happens daily at Philippi Village in Cape Town or at The Media Mill, Milpark in Johannesburg.
Can I work or study while doing the program?
A requirement for the programme is your availability Monday to Friday 9am to 3pm. If your work or study is outside these hours, and you are able to attend then yes. If not, you will not be able to be a part of the program.
How much does the program cost?
We provide this program for free, all we ask of you is full commitment.
Is there a stipend available?
No there is not. However, the program is free and provides valuable skills to young people while teaching them personal development skills. We do also provide up to 80% subsidy on travel expenses, on a case-by-case basis.
What qualifications will I graduate the program with?
The programme teaches a range of digital marketing skills accredited by internationally recognized institutions. You will acquire various badges as you progress through the training which are recognized within the digital marketing arena. This includes training in the Google Digital Skills, Hubspot, Facebook Blueprint.
